When necessary changes were made in the management at Bandersnatch Books, I knew there would be an almost starting from scratch mentality needed. What I didn’t know was just how much. Because of the relative silence lately coming from our quarters, I felt it necessary to let everyone know where Bandersnatch Books stands.

We had planned on having TM Wright’s chapbook out last month. Due to some cover issues, the release was delayed until everyone was happy with a new cover. Once we received it, and it was formatted, I sent it to the printer and am now awaiting on the proof. It’s expected to go on preorder very soon.

Once that is ready, Karen Koehler’s The Dreadful Dr. Faust will come out, followed by J. Bruce Fuller’s collection. Dead West is being moved up a bit for a November release to give the artist more time to complete the drawings.

TM Wright’s two other chapbooks will also be released by year’s end, and in January we’ll start taking unsolicited submissions.

It’s very easy to pronounce a small press dead when something of the magnitude that occurred with Bandersnatch Books happened. Small presses come and go all the time. However, it’s the conviction of everyone on the Bandersnatch Books team that keeps us going. Doomsayers are a dime a dozen and very easy to point fingers when they have no knowledge of what truly goes on.

Bandersnatch is here to stay and is strong as it ever was. I want to thank all of our writers for their unwavering support, as well as everyone on the team. Without all of you, the quality products we have would never exist.
