The first book in the Daughter of Arden Trilogy

Maleen, Princess of Arden, longs to be free of her father’s plan to keep her safe from the Aharrans, a barbarous army threatening to invade their nation. He has given her two choices: exile in a tower that’s protected by the work of a Stone Sage, or marriage to Prince Jared of Dranneth, their ally to the north. Maleen chooses the tower, hoping it will give her beloved Prince Melanor of Pandor time to rescue her. But Melanor doesn’t arrive in time, and Maleen must come to terms with her decision.

Daughter of Arden – Exile is the first in a trilogy following Maleen’s story and the fate of Arden. Wandering released in June 2023 and Promise will release before the end of the year.

Loren G. Warnemuende

Loren G. Warnemuende is a writer, wife, teacher, and homeschool mom. She’s been writing stories for most of her life and grasps the world, ideas, and God best when she has processed them through written words. Books have been her friends from an early age, starting with The Chronicles of Narnia and Little House on the Prairie. The fantasy of Lewis and the realism of Wilder, along with these authors’ characters and their relationships, have continued to be foundational influences in Loren’s writing. In more recent years, authors like Elizabeth Goudge, Mary Stewart, and Dorothy L. Sayers have shaped her writing style.
