Daughter of Arden Trilogy Bundle

$57.97

Based on the Grimm’s Tale “Maid Maleen,” the Daughter of Arden trilogy follows the story of Maleen, Princess of Arden. As war advances on the nation of Arden, the king has two options to keep Princess Maleen safe: marriage to a prince she doesn’t love or retreat in a tower protected by the work of a Stone Sage.

Hoping that her beloved Prince Melanor will come rescue her, Maleen chooses the tower. In Exile, Maleen must not only come to terms with her decision, but with her family, her country, her place in old prophecies, and, ultimately, the heart of the Mighty One.

In Wandering, Maleen and her lady’s maid Marietta have survived three years of exile in a tower only to escape and discover their kingdom’s capital, Ardenay, in ruins. Now Maleen must forge ahead and make decisions about her future, even though she has no idea what happened to her country or to her father, King Darrick.

In Promise, Maleen arrives in Chryssion, hoping loyal Ardeners will help her retake Arden from the clutches of Pandor, but she’s determined to accomplish it on her own terms: hiding behind the safety of the Dragon Fever veil and remaining dead to Crown Prince Jared. Dranneth has promised to protect Arden already; she won’t obligate them further. However, the promise of Arden’s restoration proves difficult. As Maleen faces new challenges, she starts to wonder if she really came through Dragon Fever unscathed . . . and whether she’s safe from Melanor after all.
